Mental Asylum is reserved for patients suffering from mental illnesses. Hence, the place is not located in central London. It is outside the city. In the Victorian times, people did not want to live with the ones suffering from the mental illnesses and these patients were seen as “the other”. They were generally locked up in asylums like this one and were kept away from the sight of the society.
