Renfield is introduced to us through Dr. Seward’s recordings, and the similarities and differences between Renfield and Count Dracula is visible. Like Dracula, he feeds upon other living things but unlike him Renfield is interested in animals not in humans. Both of them are consumers and threat the existence of others.
