It shows that Dracula is not alone but he has power to turn women into voluptuous beings. It is not proper for a Victorian lady to display sexual intentions. They are full of lust and desire and they threat the virtues of the Victorian women. It foreshadows the fear that Dracula can turn proper and pure ladies of the Victorian society into voluptuous and sexual creatures.
