The last phase of SDLC is operation and maintenance. This is the longest phase at which the system is setup and starts to operate. After operations starts, users may notice some operative problems, some problems may emerge that were not recognized in the early phases of the SDLC, or users may demand some improvements. For this purpose, developers support the system and update the system according to the demands of the users or changes in the operation processes.
