South Africa: They throw their old furniture out of the window to make a new and different start.
The Philippines: According to their New Year’s tradition, everything should be round (round food, round clothes).Why? Because round things represent coins and they are believed to bring money.
Bolivia: Bolivians bake sweets with coins. The people who find the coins have good luck in the new year.
