A strength only matters and becomes a power if it is beneficial for customer satisfaction. Some environmental factors make up “threats” for a business. These threats are tendencies or developments which may worsen the situation of the company in the market. Examples include the arrival of cheaper technology, better products entering the market, importing low-cost foreign goods and a rise in interest rates.
